Axiote Sauce for “Fish Tamale” (one of Chef Nora’s most popular fish entrees)
1 cup Orange Juice
4 table spoons lemon juice
1/2 cup Olive Oil
4 cups Tomato Sauce
2 table spoons Vinegar
1/2 bar of “Axiote” (Mexican spice)
1 tablespoon of salt
- Grill a fresh Grouper or Tilapia fish fillet inside a corn husk (for maximum flavored and aroma)
- Mix all ingredients using blender.
- Unwrap fish fillet and pour Axiote sauce on top.
- Sprinkle cilantro on top
