    Chef Nora

    Head Chef Nora, the talented youngest child of the De La Vega family, grew up in the rural town of Queretaro on the outskirts of Mexico City. It is here she became inspired by the heavy aromas of Mexican street food and the traditional staples set by her mother attheir family dinner table. Chef Nora would join her mother in the kitchen as she prepared these traditional Mexican feasts from scratch. From her mother, who is also diabetic, she learned to respect fresh, authentic ingredients and to create the vibrant flavors that turned family dinners into celebrated events.

    A fresh fish filet soaked in "achiote" sauce combined with red onion, grilled squash and a bit of refried beans, cooked inside a corn husk for maximum flavor.
