Head Chef Nora, the talented youngest child  of the De La Vega family, grew up   in the rural town of Queretaro, on the outskirts of Mexico City. It is here she became inspired by the  heavy aromas of Mexican street food and the traditional staples set by her mother at their family dinner table.

De LaVega Restaurante y Galeria features vibrant Mexican fare, blending rich flavors, textures and traditions from ancient Aztec and Mayan foods like chiles and corn with the unique blend of Spanish and Latin influences. Incorporating these incredible food fusions, Chef Nora pays true homage to the authentic dishes eaten regionally in Mexico. At the very core of our menu stands creatively classic cuisine that marries well-known family dishes with Nora’s innovation and our philosophy of using fresh sustainable ingredients. The restaurant is committed to building each elaborate dish from scratch offering complex flavor combinations that transcend “dated” recipes. The result is modern Mexican food that is as aritistic as it is flavorful.
